Chelsea beat West Ham 2-0 on Monday night to move up to third in the Premier League.

Eden Hazard opened the scoring in the first half with a brilliant solo effort but it took a late goal from Hazard to make it 2-0 despite Chelsea creating lots of chances against West Ham.

Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has urged his teammates to be more ruthless in front of goal.

“It was an important win for us and for the fans,” Kante said after the 2-0 win over West Ham. “I think we played a good game and we won three important points.

“We need to score the chances we have because as we saw in the second half, they had some chances and could have scored. In the future, I hope we can take our opportunities to win the game without stress.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek has admitted he’s lucky to play alongside Eden Hazard.

“He’s one of the best in the world for sure,” Loftus-Cheek said. “I’m just lucky to play with him and learn from him as much as I can because when you’ve got him in your team, it’s a big bonus. He can score goals like that from nowhere all by himself.”
