Chelsea and Manchester United played out a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford as Marcos Alonso scored late in the first-half to cancel out Juan Mata’s opener. At the end of the day, the draw was a point gained for Chelsea as the Blues are 4th on the table and two points clear of Arsenal who are our closest rival in 5th.

See the ratings of the Chelsea players:

Kepa: Made some decent saves to keep Chelsea in the game and had an okay game. Made a good save to deny Lukaku in the first-half. 6/10

Azpilicueta: Robust defensive performance from the captain and was a beast down the right, both in the attack and defence. 8/10

Rudiger: Was having a good game before his injury in the second-half. Assisted Alonso for his goal as his spilled shot fell in the path of the Spaniard who tapped home. 6/10

Luiz: Started the game shaky and had a difficult first-half against Lukaku and Rashford. Made some mistakes with his passing, but got better in the second-half. 6/10

Alonso: Beaten for pace by Marcus Rashford a number of times, but he was at the right place at the right time to score Chelsea’s equaliser from an Antonio Rudiger shot. 7/10

Jorginho: Looked a different player as he worked harder in midfield today and kept his passing neat and tidy. Very influential performance. 7/10

Kante: Was everywhere today as he was a driving force in midfield. His runs were a continuous problem for United and his defensive duties was excellent. 8/10

Kovacic: Nothing worked for him today and he was below par for most parts of the game. could have gotten a red card on another day. 4/10

Willian: Looked dangerous at times although not at his best. Took a nasty challenge from Rojo during the game that should have given him a red card. 6/10

Hazard: Was Chelsea’s most dangerous player in the first-half and was fouled too many times in the game. Got quieter in the second-half. 7/10

Higuain: Wasn’t much involved in the game and missed a good chance that was saved by De Gea late in the game. 3/10

Subs

Christensen: Came for the injured Rudiger and he slotted in calmly at the back. Good game in a high pressed performance. 6/10

Loftus-Cheek: Definitely had more impact than Kovacic as he made some dangerous runs.

Pedro: Came on for Willian in the 64th minute. Headed a ball out on the line and that was his biggest contribution to the game.
