Chelsea star Eden Hazard has been linked with a summer move to Spanish side Real Madrid.
According to the Sun, Real Madrid are prepared to offer Hazard, 28, a whopping £110million six-year contract and pay the Blues £100million to sign him.
Reports in Spain even claim Real Madrid are close to agreeing a deal with Chelsea for the Belgian captain.
The deal will see Hazard earn at least £350,000-a-week over the next six years with Real Madrid, making him among the best-paid players on the planet.
Hazard has spoken of his love for Madrid in the past, saying: “Real Madrid is the best club in the world. It is my dream since I was a kid.”
Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has also spoken highly of the Belgian: “He’s a player I have always appreciated. He is fantastic.
“I will not give my personal opinion about what may happen because the season has not ended.
“He has played in France, I have watched him a lot and I know him personally.”
Hazard has once again been in fine form this season – chipping in with 17 goals and 12 assists in 41 games in all competitions.
Hazard joined Chelsea in 2012 and has won two Premier League titles with the club.
Chelsea legend Didier Drogba recently hailed Hazard as a Chelsea legend regardless of whether he stays at Stamford Bridge or joins Real Madrid this summer.
“He is a legend [regardless of what happens], look at what he achieved in six years at the club. He won the league twice, won the FA Cup, won Player of the Year,” Drogba told Goal.
“He brought something that we hadn’t seen for such a long time. The closest I can bring to him if I compare, if I may, is [Gianfranco] Zola. The talent to dribble, to make the difference and dribble one-versus-one. That’s him.”
