Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck was spotted meeting with Juventus counterpart Andrea Agnelli in Chelsea’s team hotel ahead of the Europa League final clash between Chelsea and Arsenal.
According to Italian media outlet Tuttosport, Buck and Agnelli discussed Sarri’s future.
Juventus reportedly want Sarri as their next manager following the departure of Max Allegri and the Italian champions are reportedly confident of luring Sarri back to Italy.
Daily Mail claim Juventus chief Agnelli met with Sarri in the five-star Four Seasons hotel and the Italian club have reportedly told their players that Sarri will be in charge next season.
Chelsea would demand £5million compensation for Sarri, but that is not understood to be an issue for Juventus.
Sarri is reportedly aware of Juve’s offer and is known to be tempted by the opportunity to work in Turin after a difficult first season in the Premier League that have seen Chelsea fans call for his sack.
It is believed Sarri has decided to step down as Chelsea boss irrespective of the result of Wednesday’s Europa League final clash against Arsenal.
Sarri’s exit will see Chelsea appoint club legend Frank Lampard as new boss.
