Chelsea beat Watford 3-0 in our final Premier League game of the season at Stamford Bridge on Sunday to move third in the Premier League above Tottenham.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek scored Chelsea’s first just six minutes after the restart with David Luiz scoring Chelsea’s second with a powerful header three minutes later. Gonzalo Higuain scored Chelsea’s third.
Chelsea star Eden Hazard provided the assists for Chelsea’s first two goals scored by Loftus-Cheek and Luiz.
The two assists against Watford took Hazard to 15 assists in the Premier League this season, more than any other player in the big five European Leagues.
Bournemouth’s Ryan Fraser had been top of the assists chart with 14 assists in the league before Hazard overtook him with his assists against Watford. Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho was the other player in Europe with 14 assists in the league this season.
Although Hazard failed to get on the scoresheet against Watford, he already has 16 Premier League goals to his name, which equals his best-ever return in the League.
