After a season where Chelsea have struggled for most parts of the campaign, Chelsea eventually ended the season in 3rd place, having been 6th at some point this season and ruled out of making a Champions League place.

Chelsea’s target this season was to end in the top four having missed out last season, and the Blues have now achieved that target. But for Chelsea fans, one key target will be for the club to keep Eden Hazard, who’s reportedly set for a move to Real Madrid at the end of the season.

Hazard was rested on the bench on the final day of the Premier League season away at Leicester City, but came on for Willian in the 69th minute as both sides played out a drab goalless draw at the King Power Stadium.

Hazard took time to hail the travelling Chelsea fans at the end of the game, as the number 10 offered the fans the thumbs up and blew kisses to them at the final whistle.

Chelsea fans are particular that Hazard remains at the club and sent a last desperate plea to Hazard urging the 28-year-old to stay at the club during Chelsea’s game with Leicester City on the final day of the Premier League season.

A group of Chelsea supporters unfurled a banner calling for the Chelsea superstar to reject a switch to the Bernabeu ahead of the 2019/20 campaign and remain at Chelsea. It said: “Eden Hazard bleeds blue. Chelsea is your home.”

A chorus of ‘Eden Hazard, we want you to say’ could also be heard in the away end at the King Power Stadium during the game.

The big question is: will Hazard be a Chelsea player next season?

Hazard is yet to reveal his plans and told BT Sport after the game against Eintracht Frankfurt: “I am only thinking about winning something with this squad and this club.

“If it is my last game, I will try to do everything. If it’s not, I will see.

“In my mind, I don’t know yet so I am just thinking about winning games.”
