Chelsea will play Champions League football next season after a third place finish in the Premier League this season.
Chelsea face Arsenal in the Europa League final and must beat the Gunners to avoid facing Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Juventus and PSG in the Champions League group stage next season.
The top seeds for the group stage of the Champions League is made up of the league champions from the top six countries (according to UEFA country ranking) and the Europa League and Champions League winners.
Barcelona are Spanish champions, Bayern Munich are champions of Germany, Juventus are champions of Italy, PSG are champions of France and Zenit are champions of Russia.
Manchester City are champions of England but can’t be drawn against any English side in the group stage until the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
Already in pot 1 next season for winning their leagues are Barcelona, Bayern, Juventus, Manchester City, PSG and FC Zenit.
Chelsea will join the pot 1 for next season’s Champions League group stage draw alongside the winner of the Champions League if we beat Arsenal on Wednesday.
Failure to beat Arsenal on Wednesday means Chelsea will be in pot 2, meaning we could be drawn in the same group as Barcelona.
