The Chelsea academy might not have produced a legendary status since John Terry broke through from the academy into the first team, but there are good signs ahead that Chelsea youths have a bright future.

Currently, Chelsea are producing the most talent in the junior team level, which has been shown in the way the club has dominated youth football in the past seven years, not only in England, but Chelsea youth are a force to reckon with in Europe.

A lot of Chelsea youngsters are doing well on loan, but these four mentioned in this article have what it takes to go on and make impact not only in the Premier League but in world football.

1. Tammy Abraham

Tammy Abraham is only 21 years old but in his two Championship seasons he has scored 46 league or playoff goals. The Chelsea academy product has shown that he is not afraid of the big challenge and has had a successful career in the Championship.

While many could point to Abraham’s struggle in the English Premier League last season with Swansea, it could be noted that the entire Swansea team struggled that season, and the Swans had just sold their only playmaker, with Abraham struggling to find the goals due to lack of service.

But now, Abraham has improved much as a player. He is now much more involved off the ball and he is much better prepared for Premier League football as his all-round game has improved. Abraham knows how to use his height as an advantage and also has good body strength that will make him a beast even when facing the toughest of defenders.

With Chelsea struggling to get the goals from strikers over the last two seasons, Abraham might just be the solution for Chelsea next season. Abraham banged 26 goals in 40 games for Aston Villa and played a major role in lifting the Villains to the Premier League for the 2019/20 campaign.

Chelsea’s plans for Tammy Abraham remain up in the air, but it’ll be better for Chelsea to keep Abraham and give him a chance. Whether or not Chelsea give Abraham a chance, the youngster will definitely make it big in his football career.

Already, Aston Villa want to keep Abraham for around £25 million, and it’s up to Chelsea to decide what to do with the youngster. But one thing is for sure, Abraham is a Premier League striker and will be a big player in Europe in the near future.
