4. Reece James
The kid is obviously the player to take over from Cesar Azpilicueta in future at right-back. James was brilliant during his loan spell at Wigan last season, scooping three awards – club’s player, players’ player and even goal of the year. James has got a good pace and ability to put in good crosses. The 19 year old is currently out injured after picking up an ankle ligament injury with England U20s and he is expected to miss the start of the season. The right-back scored three goals and provided three assists in 46 appearances for Wigan last season. He will definitely give Azpilicueta a good run at right-back next season.
5. Tammy Abraham
The 21 year old striker has a huge potential. Abraham impressed on loan at Aston Villa, helping them secure Premier League promotion with 26 goals and 3 assists in 40 appearances. The young striker is keen to make his mark at Chelsea and he could force his way into the starting XI at Chelsea with the Blues lacking a lethal striker currently. Abraham certainly has something to offer and a point to prove.
6. Mason Mount
Mason Mount impressed during his first loan spell at Vitesse, scoring 14 goals and providing 9 assists in 32 appearances for the Dutch club. He was an important player at Derby County last season, scoring 9 goals and providing 4 assists in 38 appearances, helping the Rams reach the Playoffs. He won the Player of the Year award during his loan spell at Vitesse and he’s exciting young player with flair on the ball and a natural talent that would be hard to ignore. Mount sees Lampard as a role model and he could just break into the starting XI next season under his role model.
