Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo scored the only goal of the game as Nigeria beat Guinea to become the first team to book their place in the last 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations.
The 25 year old central defender headed in a corner with 73 minutes of the game played to give Nigeria their second win in the Africa Cup of Nations which is enough to progress to the knockout stages with a game to spare.
Omeruo spent last season on loan at Leganes in Spain and the 25 year old impressed, making 31 appearances.
Omeruo signed for Chelsea from Standard Liege in January 2012 but the defender is yet to play a competitive game for Chelsea. The 25 year old has had six loan spells in a row since joining Chelsea, with Leganes being the latest on the list.
He has made 44 appearances for the Nigerian national team since his debut for his country in 2013.
Should the central defender be brought back to Chelsea this summer?
