Chelsea have rejected a fresh approach from Bayern Munich for Callum Hudson-Odoi, according to Daily Mirror.
Bayern Munich tried to sign the 18 year old in January with the German champions looking for a long-term replacement for Arjen Robben but the Blues turned down every offer for the youngster.
Hudson-Odoi is entering the last year of his Chelsea contract and the Blues are determined to tie the England winger to a new five-year deal despite the lengthy Achilles injury he was hit with at the end of last season.
Bayern Munich have now given up on signing Hudson-Odoi after their latest offer was rejected by Chelsea and have reportedly turned their attention to Manchester City winger Leroy Sane.
Bayern’s sporting director, Hasan Salihamidzic, confirmed that they were interested in signing Hudson-Odoi, in January.
“All I can say about Callum Hudson-Odoi is that I think he’s a good player and he’s a player who we have a great interest in,” he said.
“In my opinion, he’s a player who would fit in well at our club. He’s got unbelievable qualities.
“He’s good at dribbling and has pace. In my opinion, he’s a player we would definitely like to have. Let’s see what happens.”
