Chelsea forward Pedro has revealed he enjoys scoring against London rivals Tottenham.
Chelsea beat Tottenham 2-0 in February at Stamford Bridge in a Premier League clash with Pedro breaking the deadlock after 57 minutes.
According to Pedro, the victory over Tottenham at Stamford Bridge in February was important as it helped Chelsea reach our target of finishing in the top four.
“To score against Tottenham in a derby is always good. I was so happy to score and to win this game and in front of our supporters too,” Pedro told Chelsea’s official website.
“The score was 0-0 so the goal came at a good time. Looking back now we can say that was a really important result for us to reach the top four.”
Since joining Chelsea from Barcelona in the summer of 2015, Pedro has scored twice against Tottenham and Chelsea won both games.
Meanwhile, Pedro recently revealed he wants to stay at Chelsea for as long as possible.
“I’ve got one year left on my contract at Chelsea,” he said.
“And I hope I can stay there as long as possible.
“There’s the possibility of playing in the Champions League once again.”
