Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is expected to depart for Juventus by the end of the week and the Blues have already began search for his replacement.
Sarri is believed to have agreed a two-year deal with Juventus, which includes the option of another 12 months. It is worth in excess of £6million a year.
Chelsea legend Frank Lampard, who currently manages Derby, is the favourite to replace Sarri but the Blues are also considering other options.
According to ESPN, Watford boss Javi Gracia has emerged as a potential replacement for Sarri.
The report claims the Chelsea board have been impressed by Gracia’s performances at Watford.
The Spaniard, who has experience managing in Spain, Greece and Russia, guided Watford to the FA Cup final last season as well as an 11th placed finish in the Premier League.
Gracia’s playing style and coaching ability during his season and a half at Watford has caught the eye of the Chelsea hierarchy.
Massimiliano Allegri, who has left Juventus after winning the Serie A in each of his five seasons in Turin, is also reportedly being considered by the board but Lampard remains favourite to replace Sarri.
