Chelsea star Eden Hazard has just one year left on his contract and the Belgian wants to leave Stamford Bridge for Real Madrid.
He turned down overtures by Chelsea to extend his contract beyond 2020.
Hazard’s wish to join Real Madrid is set to be granted with reports claiming Real Madrid and Chelsea have reached an agreement on a transfer fee for Eden Hazard.
According to the Guardian, Chelsea and Real Madrid have agreed a transfer fee of £88.5million plus add-ons for Hazard.
Hazard will leave Chelsea on a high after scoring twice in the Europa League 4-1 final win over Arsenal.
The 28 year old confirmed after the Europa League success that he wants to leave for Real Madrid.
“I’ve taken my decision already, I’ve said that two weeks ago,” Hazard told BT Sport.
“Now it depends on the club, both clubs. I’m just waiting like the fans wait, we will know in a couple of days.
“I think it’s a goodbye, but in football you never know. My dream was to play in the Premier League, I did it for seven years. Maybe now it’s time for a new challenge.”
