Talented Chelsea midfielder Kyle Scott will leave Stamford Bridge when his contract expires at the end of the month and according to The Sun, the 21 year old will join Premier League side Newcastle on a free transfer.
Scott joined Chelsea as a ten year old and played just once for Chelsea, coming off the bench in a 4-0 FA Cup thrashing of Hull City in February 2018.
Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez is reportedly ready to take a chance on the versatile and technically gifted central midfielder.
Scott joined Dutch club Telstar on loan for the first half of the 2018/19 season, scoring two goals in the Dutch second division. He returned to Chelsea at the start of 2019 but will now leave the club at the end of the month.
Scott won the Fa Youth Cup and UEFA Youth League twice during his time at Chelsea.
Former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte predicted a bright future for Scott during his time as Chelsea boss.
Conte said: “In Ampadu, for me, it’s not difficult to predict a brilliant future for this player.
“It’s the same for Odoi. There’s Sterling, Chalobah’s brother and Scott and they’re coming with us for the game tomorrow.
“I think Chelsea’s future is very brilliant for these young players.”
