Chelsea star Willian scored one of the penalties that sent Brazil into the semi-finals of the Copa America.

Willian began the quarter-final against Paraguay on the bench but with the game still goalless with 20 minutes left to play, Brazil boss Tite unleashed Willian as Brazil pushed for a winner against 10-man Paraguay.

Willian had a good game and smashed a shot against the inside of the post late on.

The game ended goalless and went straight to penalties.

After Paraguay had seen their first one saved, it was Willian to take Brazil’s first in the shoot-out and he made it 1-0.

Liverpool’s Firmino missed his penalty but Brazil went on to win the penalty shootout with Gabriel Jesus scoring Brazil’s final penalty after Paraguay missed two of their penalties.

Brazil play either Argentina or Venezuela in their semi-final on Thursday.
