13 players joined our preseason training camp in Ireland on Monday among them N’Golo Kante, Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic.

Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger isn’t part of the training camp in Ireland as he recovers from a serious knee injury he picked at the end of April in the Blues’ 1-1 draw against Manchester United.

Rudiger’s knee injury required a surgery and he has been doing plenty of work in the gym as he continues his rehabilitation.

Rudiger posted a video to give fans an update on his recovery.

The video shows the defender doing a range of physical exercises as well as taking part in some light ball-work.

It remains to be seen how long it will take Rudiger but from the video he posted, the signs are good.
