Chelsea and Liverpool will face each other in the Super Cup final in Turkey, which takes place on August 14.

This game is between the winners of the Champions League and the winners of the Europa League. Liverpool beat Tottenham in the final to win the Champions League last season, while Chelsea defeated Arsenal 4-1 in the Europa League final last season To become Europa League champions.

There were huge controversies before the Europa League final and Champions League final last season due to ticket arrangements.

Ahead of the Europa League final in Baku between Chelsea and Arsenal, only 6,000 fans from each club were able to attend due to issues travelling to Azerbaijan and ticket allocation.

A similar thing happened in the Champions League final last season as UEFA issued only 16,613 tickets available for both sets of fans in Atletico Madrid’s 68,000-seater stadium.

According to the Daily Mirror, UEFA are trying to avoid another controversy this time and remain confident that they will be able to satisfy the demands from both clubs this time.

This time around, the Champions League and Europa League winners will have to decide how many tickets they want for the Super Cup final and it is likely that their demands will be met, and the decision ought to be made today.

Chelsea’s first game of the season is an away trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United before the Super Cup clash against Liverpool on August 14th.
