22 year old Chelsea attacking midfielder Kasey Palmer is keen on leaving Chelsea this summer on a permanent deal after six loan spells with five different clubs, according to Daily Mail.
Palmer has featured in three of Chelsea’s four preseason games so far and he reportedly does not appear to have done enough to earn a spot in Frank Lampard’s 25-man Premier League squad.
Chelsea are reportedly willing to accept an offer of around £3.5million for Palmer. Swansea City and Bristol City are reportedly both interested in making in signing the 22 year old.
Due to financial constraints, Swansea City are only in a position to make a loan offer with an option to buy at the end of the season and they are hoping they will beat Bristol City to the signing of Palmer due to Swansea boss Steve Cooper’s strong links with Chelsea.
“Kasey has been out in Japan with Chelsea and he’s played some minutes for them,” said Cooper.
“There are lots of players we have let our interest known on. It’s difficult to make massive progress when the big Premier League clubs are away on pre-season tours.
“They’re back in England now and hopefully that might help with the players we’re looking at. Ideally you want to get players in as quickly as possible, but it’s never easy as I’m finding out.”
