Chelsea are prepared to listen to offers for Tiemoue Bakayoko as new boss Frank Lampard attempts to trim down his squad, according to The Telegraph via Daily Mail.
The 24 year old Frenchman has been involved in the Blues’ preseason preparations but according to the report, he is set to leave Chelsea as he hasn’t impressed Lampard.
The former Monaco midfielder spent last season on loan at AC Milan after struggling to adapt to the Premier League following his £40million move.
Chelsea are reportedly willing to consider allowing Bakayoko to head out on loan again or move permanently with French champions Paris Saint-Germain reportedly interested in the midfielder.
It remains to be seen whether PSG will still make a move for Bakayoko after they recently completed the signing of Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye for £28m.
Chelsea boss Lampard needs to omit a senior foreign player from his 25-man Premier League squad ahead of the new season and Bakayoko has been reportedly chosen as the player that will leave the club.
The Sun claims AC Milan are still monitoring Bakayoko after he made 42 appearances for the Italian club last season but this move seems highly unlikely to happen.
