Former Chelsea striker Diego Costa is set to make a sensational return to the Premier League, and this time it won’t be for the Blues.
Costa could return to the Premier League, two years after leaving Chelsea for Atletico Madrid having fallen out with the Spanish club.
Premier League side Everton are keen on signing Costa, and now fellow Londoners West Ham United are exploring the possibility of signing the former Chelsea striker.
Costa left Chelsea back in September 2017, with his relationship with then manager Antonio Conte ruined, and he was eventually sold to Atletico who are now tired of his behaviour and are willing to let him leave this summer.
Costa was a beast for Chelsea and helped the club win two Premier League trophies with an amazing contribution upfront.
The Spain international won two Premier League titles during his three year spell at Stamford Bridge, before leaving the club in 2017 after failing out with then boss Antonio Conte.
It’ll really be weird to see the former fan favourite come up against his old side, with Chelsea having enjoyed Costa’s aggression and power.
Costa was a tough and aggressive player for Chelsea, and he was hated by opposition defenders. Even against the toughest of defences, Costa knew how to bully his way through, and Chelsea have never really been able to replace the Spain international since he left the club.
