Maurizio Sarri left Chelsea for Juventus just weeks after guiding Chelsea to a third place finish in the Premier League and success in the Europa League.

Sarri joined Chelsea from Napoli last summer after three seasons at Naples.

Sarri guided Napoli to three consecutive top-three finishes during his time at the club before leaving for Chelsea in 2018.

Napoli star Lorenzo Insigne has branded Maurzio Sarri’s move to Juventus a betrayal and launched a scathing attack on his old boss.

Sarri forged strong ties with the fans at Napoli and his move to Chelsea last summer didn’t affect his ties with Napoli fans but they are furious about his decision to join Juventus.

Insigne played under Maurizio Sarri when he was manager for Napoli and he is furious that Sarri decided to take over in Turin following his season at Chelsea.

“I said it and I’ll say it again, for us Neapolitans, that was a betrayal and it will be forever,” Insigne said, according to Daily Mail.

“Now we have to focus on ourselves and try to beat him at all costs. Now that he’s gone to Juve, I don’t want to talk about him anymore.

“The Scudetto is a dream for all of us and we will try once more.”
