According to Daily Star, new Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has decided to take a closer look at Kurt Zouma before Chelsea decide whether or not to sell him to Everton.
Kurt Zouma is wanted by Everton after impressing while on club with the Merseyside team. They are reportedly willing to offer as much as £30 million for the 24 year old but that should be too cheap for a defender of Zouma’s quality.
According to the report, Lampard won’t be rushed into a decision over the centre back’s future.
Zouma was part of the squad that jetted off to Ireland for pre-season training on Friday.
With Chelsea captain Gary Cahill leaving Chelsea this summer following the expiration of his contract, Lampard could keep Zouma at the club.
Fikayo Tomori is also in the running to be included in the first-team squad last season after a strong campaign at Derby where he was managed by Lampard.
