Frank Lampard’s first Premier League home game as Chelsea boss has been moved to Sunday 18 August (4:30pm BST kick-off) to accommodate TV rights holders.

The game will see Lampard go head to head against former Blues coach Brendan Rodgers, whose side finished last season in fine form.

The match is one of several Chelsea games moved in August and September to accommodate TV rights holders.

Chelsea’s opening Premier League fixtures and dates:

Sunday 11 August – Manchester United (a) – KO 4.30pm

Sunday 18 August – Leicester City (h) – KO 4.30pm

Saturday 24 August – Norwich City (a) – KO 12.30pm

Saturday 31 August – Sheffield United (h) – KO 3pm

Saturday 14 September – Wolverhampton Wanderers (a) – KO 3pm

Sunday 22 September – Liverpool (h) – KO 4.30pm

Saturday 28 September – Brighton & Hove Albion (h) – KO 3pm
