This isn’t the first time Hazard is relating to Chelsea since his exit. 20 days after completing his £150million move to Real Madrid, the Belgian captain was pictured helping out young Chelsea supporters at a Greek football course at Sani Football Academy, which is in association with Chelsea FC.
Hazard was on vacation in Greece but he still found time to meet up with some Chelsea supporters and posed for a group photo and then signed shirts for the youngsters.
Lampard was a star at Stamford Bridge before leaving England for Spain, and new Chelsea boss and former teammate Frank Lampard didn’t get the chance to manage the Belgian.
However, Lampard is thankful for what Hazard helped Chelsea achieve during his time at the club and he insists he won’t dwell on Hazard’s loss.
Lampard said: “I certainly as a Chelsea fan felt that he gave this club such great pleasure, we are thankful he was here. It is not one to dwell on now, he has gone, we wish him well. We lose one great player but you get around that by looking at the team.
“We have young players at a really good age that have the talent, who in their own way can be really huge players for this club. Part of my job will be to get that out of them.”
