Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi only has one year left on his current deal and the Blues risk losing him on a free next summer if a new contract isn’t agreed.
The 18 year old has stalled on signing a new Chelsea deal and pushed to join Bayern Munich in January after getting frustrated over his lack of game time under former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri.
Bayern Munich made several attempts to sign the winger in January but Chelsea rejected all bids for the 18 year old and offered him a contract which he has stalled on signing.
His game time improved in the second half of last season after the bids from Bayern Munich were rejected by the club before he ruptured his Achilles against Burnley in April at Stamford Bridge.
According to Daily Express, Hudson-Odoi is now ready to commit his future to the club and sign a new contact following the appointment of Frank Lampard.
The report claims Hudson-Odoi will sign a new five year contract worth £100,000 weekly with Lampard set to be announced as Chelsea boss.
Lampard’s arrival along with the plans he has for the club appear to have convinced the younger members of the squad they might get a chance to get more minutes next season.
Several youngsters who were on the verge of leaving the club have now made a U-turn and signed new deals and Hudson-Odoi is now expected to do same.
