New Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has already told his players how he wants them to play next season.
Lampard and his players are currently in Dublin, Ireland, for a training camp in preparation for the new season.
According to Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta, Lampard has told the players that he wants them to play with high intensity and dominate games.
“”We want to play with high intensity and we want to be dominant in games, the manager has explained how he wants us to play and we are all enjoying the camp so far,” Azpilicueta told Chelsea’s official website.
Lampard, who is Chelsea’s record goalscorer, is confident he will be successful as Chelsea boss.
“Football is littered with stories of inexperienced managers who do spectacularly well and some who don’t, as well as experienced managers who do well or don’t,” Lampard said.
“I believe in myself completely and what I think will define my time here will be my work ethic and what I put into it.”
