According to Daily Star, Premier League side Burnley are prepared to splash the cash on young Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori.
The report claims Burnley are ready to offer £15 million for the 21 year old defender.
Tomori spent last season on loan at Derby where he impressed under Frank Lampard, playing an integral part in the Rams’ run to the play-off final.
He was named Derby’s Player of the Year following his impressive performances for the Rams throughout the season.
Tomori is currently with the preseason squad in Dublin as Chelsea boss Frank Lampard assesses the players at his disposal.
Should Lampard decide Tomori is surplus to requirements, Daily Star claim Burnley boss Sean Dyche will make a move for the 21 year old defender.
Meanwhile, Lampard has admitted he was impressed with Tomori’s attitude during his loan spell at Derby.
Lampard said: “I was fortunate enough to work with Mason Mount and Fikayo Tomori last year, their attitudes stood out well.
“The fact they came through the academy here – you could see it in how they held themselves, how they train, their manners off the pitch so that’s what I want to see.”
