Chelsea signed Christian Pulisic in January for a fee of £58m from German side Borussia Dortmund. Pulisic remained with Dortmund until the end of the season and will now be with the Blues from this summer’s pre-season.

Pulisic is known for his skills and technique, and he has revealed that he’ll be bringing that to Chelsea next season.

“I think I have a lot of speed and creativity that I can bring to the game; quickness and different attacking abilities that can really help the team,” the American told GAFFER Magazine.

“I think I have some tools that can really do well in this league [Premier League]. I just can’t wait.”

Judging from his performances for the USA in the Gold Cup, Christian Pulisic will be a hit for the Blues next season.

Speaking during the Gold Cup tournament, US boss Gregg Berhalter revealed that Pulisic will torment Premier League defenders next season with his pace. He also revealed Pulisic has the ability to influence the game from different positions and can unlock defences whether as a No 10 or going wide.

“What we see with Christian is just how dynamic he is with the ball,” said Berhalter. “He just accelerates past opponents and forces defenders into mistakes.

“He then opens up the game for the team. What I particularly like about Christian is his ability to take on information and act on it.

“He has the ability to influence the game from different positions and can unlock defences whether as a No 10 or going wide. With the coaching he’ll get in England, he has an incredibly bright future.”
