Chelsea legend Frank Lampard was confirmed as Chelsea boss after weeks of intense speculation.
He replaced Sarri who left Stamford Bridge for Juventus just weeks after guiding Chelsea to a third place finish and success in the Europa League.
Sarri was employed as Chelsea boss last season to change the playing style of Chelsea to a more attractive style and Lampard has now been given the same task. Before the arrival of Sarri, Chelsea have been known to be a team that favoured defensive football.
Ahead of Lampard’s first game in charge of the Blues on Wednesday against Bohemians, fans have urged the club legend not to park the bus like previous Chelsea managers.
Real Chelsea Fan Jesseyho Lightson Zackson said: “please don’t park the bus” while another Real Chelsea Fan HonCho Marley Ricch agreed.
Meanwhile, Lampard has told the players he wants the team to play with high intensity.
“”We want to play with high intensity and we want to be dominant in games, the manager has explained how he wants us to play and we are all enjoying the camp so far,” Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta said as he revealed how Lampard wants the team to play.
