Diego Costa was thoroughly loved at Chelsea. The Spain international brought mixed views from teams, players and even pundits in the Premier League, but Chelsea fans loved the man.

Costa was a beast in his style of play and also a monster in front of goal, and Chelsea are yet to replace the Brazilian-born Spain International.

Costa was in unstoppable form against Real Madrid as he scored four goals to help Atletico beat the Los Blancos 7-3.

Costa was always on the edge while playing for Chelsea, but he never really got a red card, although he was suspended a couple of times for his antics.

Against Real Madrid in the pre-season game played in New Jersey, America, we saw every side of Costa. Costa bagged four goals in a stunning win for Atletico in the International Champions Cup on Friday.

It was an incredible match at MetLife Stadium that saw a heavy brawl after Costa kicked Real Madrid right-back Dani Carvajal. The duo were shown a red card in the 65th minute.

Carvajal kicked Atletico’s Thomas Lemar to rob him off the ball, and Costa reacted by retaliating on behalf of his teammate, leading a massive brawl from both sets of players. At the end, Costa and Carvajal were shown a red card.

Four former Blues faced other in this game, as Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois featured for Real Madrid, while Diego Costa and Alvaro Morata featured for Atletico. Hazard and Courtois were both on the losing end.
