The Chelsea camp is almost full as Frank Lampard is set to play his first game as Chelsea manager as the Blues will kick off their pre-season proper with a friendly game against Irish side Bohemians at Dalymount Park Dublin.

Although not all the Chelsea players are back for pre-season, Chelsea’s preseason training camp was boosted on Monday by the arrival of 13 players ahead of Chelsea’s first preseason game against Bohemians on Wednesday.

A bulk of the players are in camp, with the exception of Christian Pulisic and Willian who represented their country in the Gold Cup and Copa America respectively, and both reached the final, with Willian’s Brazil going all the way.

Antonio Rudiger, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Reece James and Callum Hudson-Odoi are out injured and are currently In Cobham boosting their recovery from injuries.

Following surgery on his left knee meniscus back in April, Rudiger is back outside on the grass in the latest step of his rehabilitation. He recently posted a clip of himself jogging and working with the ball for the first time since suffering the injury at Old Trafford towards the end of last season.

Loftus-Cheek and Callum Hudson-Odoi are working hard to return from their respective Achilles injuries. Just last week, Loftus-Cheek is seen taking some of his first steps since having his protective boot removed.

Hudson-Odoi has been boosting his recovery from injury and is running outside and spending time in the gym as he sets his sights on a swift recovery ahead of the new season. Reece James is the fourth who’s out injured and is currently rehabbing at the training ground.
