Christian Pulisic signed for Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund for a fee of £58m.
There have been a lot said about the American, and Chelsea fans are eager to see how the 20-year-old will fare in the Premier League.
The Japanese Chelsea fans who were in the Nissan Stadium as they watched the January signing in action appreciated his effort.
Chelsea were holding an open training session in Yokohama and the young forward showed just what he could do.
During a shooting drill, Pulisic started on the left, played a one-two and then curled in a superb finish from the edge of the box past Kepa Arrizabalaga.
The American is expected to play some part in the matches against Kawasaki Frontale and Barcelona over the course of the week, however his finishing in training is already impressing fans, and the Japanese fans couldn’t help but show their appreciation after his stunning goal.
A lot of expectations have been placed on the January signing following the departure of Eden Hazard to Real Madrid, and Pulisic has now revealed that he looks up to the former Chelsea star and would also love to play with him.
“It is incredible to see what Eden can do,” the American told BBC Sport.
“He is a guy to look up to and what I would love to become.
“It is definitely a goal. Any player would be dumb not to want to be in the same team as him.”
