Chelsea were beaten 4-0 by Manchester United at Old Trafford in our first Premier League game of the season.
Marcus Rashford scored the opener from the penalty spot after he was brought down by Kurt Zouma. Anthony Martial tapped home from close range to double the scoring in the second half before Rashford quickly made it three. Daniel James scored Manchester United’s fourth.
Newcastle legend Alan Shearer believes Chelsea boss Frank Lampard will be concerned about Manchester United’s first three goals on Sunday.
“I think as well as Chelsea have played today, that would be the big concern for Frank, the goals that they’ve conceded,” the England legend told Premier League Productions.
“Starting with a sloppy penalty in the first half, then the two goals we’ve just showed [with mistakes] from [Cesar] Azpilicueta.
“Now, it’s probably acceptable, the fourth, because you’re trying to chase the game, you’re trying to commit men forward to try and get a goal and back into the game.
“So this is sort of understandable when you’re outnumbered at the back.
“But the first three goals will be a huge concern for Frank I think.”
