Shock reports emerged on Wednesday that Chelsea defender David Luiz refused to train with the Blues in order to push through a move to Premier League rivals Arsenal.
It is believed Luiz is in advanced talks with the Gunners as they look for a replacement for Laurent Koscielny, who left the club for Bordeaux.
L’Equipe even claim that the Chelsea defender refused to train with Chelsea’s first-team as he looks to push through a move to Arsenal before Thursday’s transfer deadline.
A medical is set to be in the offing for Luiz, and Chelsea fans are angry that a club favourite is leaving for bitter rivals Arsenal.
Angry Chelsea fans have bombarded the Brazilian’s restaurant Babbo with a series of one-star reviews on Google.
One fan wrote on Twitter: “Terrible service, disgusting food.
Another Blues supporter aimed a dig at Luiz: “Saw people having photos with a big rat that had curly hair.”
There have been series of attacks on the Brazilian, and Chelsea fans have voiced their displeasure that the Brazilian will be sold for only £8m.
One supporter tweeted: “I don’t rate Luiz but selling him for that cheap to strengthen our rivals? I’m not sure about this.”
Another fan revealed his main concern as he said: “Why have we sold him for 8m to a direct rival?? It’s not like we need the money. Just let him rot in the reserves.
“Arsenal having a decent cb could be the difference that makes them finish ahead of us.”
