Chelsea boss Frank Lampard might not have had the best start to life as Chelsea manager as he’s yet to get his first taste of victory in an official game.
The Blues boss has been in charge of three games, and the opening day clash was a 4-0 win against Manchester United, followed by a 2-2 draw with Liverpool in the UEFA Super Cup final, with the Reds winning the game 5-4 on penalty shootout.
Chelsea ended up playing a 1-1 draw with Leicester City last weekend, and Lampard is set for his third Premier League match as Chelsea manager, with the Blues away to Norwich at Carrow Road.
Despite being winless, Chelsea fans are still in awe of Frank Lampard, who’s rated as one of Chelsea’s greatest ever legends of the game.
Footage of Lampard has gone viral on Twitter as he got involved in a training drill at an open session at the club’s stadium on Wednesday.
In the clip, Lampard showed that he still has an A game. Chelsea players were passing the ball around a circle while Lampard was in the centre trying to win the ball back.
The players have made up to about 20 passes when the ball got to Tiemoue Bakayoko’s feet, but he allowed it pass through his legs and Lampard was quick get back possession, and Chelsea supporters were loving what they saw and has called for Lampard to be reinstated as player-manager.
“Lamps is fast as hell jeez,” a Chelsea fan wrote.
“Lampard should be both a player-coach this energy,” another fan commented.
“Super Frankie Lampard,” a third said.
“I f****** love him,” commented another fan.
