We are set to begin Champions League football next month, and the Blues will be hopeful of getting a good draw in the Champions League group stage.
The Blues missed last season’s Champions League having failed to seal a top four spot, but Maurizio Sarri led Chelsea to a third place finish last season, and thus a Champions League place.
According to reports, Chelsea will have an easy group and will be placed in pot one alongside Liverpool and Manchester City.
City are among the top seeds along with the title winners from Uefa’s top-performing nations; Spain, Germany, Italy, France and Russia. Chelsea are back among the best having won the Europa League.
Chelsea will discover their Champions League group stage opponents this Thursday when the draw takes place in Monaco.
