The Blues returned to the training pitch at Cobham on Tuesday morning after Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Leicester City at Stamford Bridge.
Frank Lampard is yet to get a win as Chelsea boss and he would be excited to have Callum Hudson-Odoi involved in training today ahead of the game against Norwich City this weekend.
The 18 year old winger looked bright and sharp as he trained with his teammates as the Blues prepare for Saturday’s game against Norwich.
Lampard revealed before the game against Leicester City that Hudson-Odoi is doing well in his recovery from the Achilles injury he suffered back in April against Burnley at Stamford Bridge.
“He’s getting closer,” Lampard said prior to the game against Leicester. “He’s trained the last week or two with the Under-23s and is looking good. There is going to be a period of conditioning work for him. The injury looks good, which is the great news.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta has urged his teammates to be more clinical in front of goal.
“When you have better spells than the opponent you have to kill the game,” the skipper said.
“In the first 20, 25 minutes we were a lot better than them, we were controlling the game and having a lot of chances. We needed to score a second goal.
“The Premier League is very tough, and Leicester are a good team with good players and good quality. We knew they could create us problems and when you are 1-0 up you are risk.”
