Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is currently in France to finalise his transfer to Monaco, according to RMC Sport.
The midfielder arrived in Monaco on Friday night to complete his move to the Ligue 1 club.
Monaco are set to finalise a loan move for Bakayoko in the following days after making a breakthrough in talks with the Blues on Thursday. The loan deal also includes a £32m buy-out clause.
Bakayoko is not in the plans of Chelsea manager Frank Lampard and the Blues are happy to let him move to Monaco on a season-long loan deal.
Bakayoko is expected to undergo his medical with Monaco on Saturday morning before completing his move to the French club if he comes through the checks.
Chelsea winger Kenedy is also heading to Italy, with Sassuolo keen to snap him up.
Asked at a news conference on Friday if the duo are likely to move before Monday’s European transfer deadline, Lampard said: “It’s a possibility. We are getting to the point now where the window is closing soon and I’m pretty clear on where my squad is.
“We have to see how they both develop in terms of Bakayoko and Kenedy, for sure. We’ll see how it goes.”
