Chelsea have reportedly turned down a sizeable bid from Crystal Palace for Reece James.
According to Daily Mail, Crystal Palace submitted a bid of £25m for the 19 year old right-back. James is yet to play a competitive game for Chelsea but he is highly rated at the club.
He won the FA Youth Cup and twice won the Under 18 Premier League with the club and impressed on loan last season with Wigan, playing 46 times, scoring three goals and providing a further three assists.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is keen on using the 19 year old this season and he won’t leave the club on club on loan.
Crystal Palace are looking to fill the void left by Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who left for Manchester United and believe James is the right player to replace Wan-Bissaka.
