Chelsea Football Club have sent their best wishes to Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri after Juve confirmed the Italian was being treated for pneumonia.
Chelsea sent a message to the former Blues boss after he missed Juventus’ clash with Triestina last weekend due to health issues.
At first, it was thought that the 60-year-old had the flu, but after failing to recover from the flu, he had to be sent for further tests, and Juventus have since confirmed that he has been diagnosed with pneumonia.
Sarri might also miss Juventus’ opening weekend clash with Parma and the Serie A giants have said he will be assessed on a day-by-day basis.
Chelsea have sent a class message to their former boss, wishing him well.
Chelsea FC tweeted via its official handle: “All of us at Chelsea send our best wishes to Maurizio Sarri, who is being treated for pneumonia. Get well soon, Maurizio.”
