Chelsea Academy graduate striker Ike Ugbo has joined Dutch second division side Roda JC on loan for the season.
The 20 year old forward is heading out on his fourth loan spell, having previously spent time with Barnsley, MK Dons and Scunthorpe.
Ugbo scored two goals in 20 appearances for Scunthorpe last season and he would be hoping for a successful loan spell at Roda.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard played Ugbo in a friendly against Bohemians, which ended in a 1-1 but he didn’t join the squad for the preseason tour of Japan in the hope he would complete a loan deal.
Ugbo was prolific during his time at the academy, scoring 60 goals in 95 matches across three seasons before he was loaned out to Barnsley for the 2017/18 campaign.
