Galatasaray are set to hold talks with Chelsea over the signing of two Chelsea players.
Chelsea midfielders Tiemoue Bakayoko and Danny Drinkwater are surplus to requirements at the club this season and Galatasaray are reportedly willing to sign both players, according to Daily Express.
The report claims Galatasaray board member Sukru Haznedar is currently in London to hold talks with Chelsea about the transfers.
Bakayoko joined the Blues for £40million from Moncao in 2017 but struggled to make an impact at Stamford Bridge. He rediscover his form in Italy as he made 31 Serie A appearances while on loan at AC Milan but the Italian club opted against signing him due to financial constraints after failing to qualify for the Champions League.
Drinkwater joined Chelsea from Leicester City for £35million back in 2017. He made only 12 appearances in his debut season at the club and failed to make a single appearance for the Blues last season under Maurizio Sarri.
Both players didn’t travel with the Chelsea squad for the final two games of pre-season, against RB Salzburg and Borussia Monchengladbach.
Galatasaray will face competition from Burnley and Norwich for the signature of Chelsea midfielder Drinkwater.
