Ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League visit to Norwich on Saturday, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard will be hoping to change this poor Chelsea record that began under former boss Maurizio Sarri.
Ahead of the game against Norwich, Chelsea will be seeking a first away league win in five outings having drawn two and lost two of the previous four matches. Three of those four games have been under Maurizio Sarri and it didn’t improve under Lampard as we lost 4-0 to Manchester United at Old Trafford in the opening day of the season.
Chelsea have also lost six of our last 10 away Premier League matches, failing to score in seven of those games.
It’ obvious the Blues have a very poor away record.
The Blues must start scoring goals in away matches and Lampard will hope that starts with the visit to Norwich on Saturday.
Chelsea will be confident heading to Norwich as the Blues are unbeaten in 15 matches in all competitions against Norwich, winning 10 and drawing five.
The last time Chelsea lost to Norwich in the Premier League was in 1994, when Jamie Cureton and a brace from Ashley Ward secured a 3-0 victory against Glenn Hoddle’s Blues.
