Pedro picked an injury during warm-up before Chelsea’s 3-2 win over Norwich on Saturday and was replaced by Ross Barkley.
Pedro watched from the stands as Chelsea beat Norwich 3-2 on Saturday.
The Spaniard was initially in the starting XI but sustained a hamstring injury in the warm-up at Carrow Road, forcing Chelsea boss Frank Lampard to change his starting line-up before kick-off.
Pedro will also miss this Saturday’s clash against newly promoted Sheffield Wednesday. The Blues will be looking for another win after defeating Norwich last weekend.
Speaking about Pedro’s injury, Lampard said after Saturday’s game that he doubted if the Spaniard will be back soon.
“Pedro picked up a hamstring injury and we will assess the severity of it over the next couple of days, but I think it will be tough for him to be back for next week at first glance,” said Lampard.
“We obviously then have the international break, so that might help, but we will be trying to get him back as quickly as possible because he’s an important player.”
