Tiemoue Bakayoko’s time at Chelsea appears to be all but over and the midfielder could make a return to France before the end of the European transfer window.
According to Daily Mail, the 25 year old midfielder is wanted by French clubs Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco.
Despite Chelsea’s inability to sign players this summer, Bakayoko is surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge with Chelsea boss Frank Lampard willing to let the 25 year old leave the club.
Bakayoko has endured a poor spell in West London since joining from Monaco in 2017 for £40million, and was shipped out to AC Milan on loan last season.
Despite impressing on loan at AC Milan, the Italian club opted against signing the Frenchman due to financial constraints after missing out on Champions League football.
Despite signing former Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera and Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye, PSG are reportedly still keen on adding Bakayoko to their midfield.
Meanwhile, Monaco could be a favourable option as he made his name at the club before joining Chelsea in 2017. He was a key player in the Monaco team that reached the semifinal of the Champions League in 2017.
