Michy Batshuayi is yet to play a game this season under Frank Lampard and has even failed to make the bench in the Premier League, with Lampard preferring Olivier Giroud and Tammy Abraham as his first two striking choices.
A number of clubs want Abraham on loan especially with him being overlooked by Lampard, but reports claim that the Belgium striker is willing to remain at the club and fight for a shirt under Frank Lampard this season.
According to the Evening Standard, the snub from Lampard has not deterred Batshuayi, and the 25-year-old is set to reject a transfer and remain at Stamford Bridge.
Batshuayi scored a brace and Antonio Rudiger returned from injury as Chelsea U23 beat Liverpool U23 3-0.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard was at Stamford Bridge to watch the game and he must have been impressed with the pair.
Batshuyayi has been left out of both Premier League squads this season by Frank Lampard and with the Blues struggling to convert chances in our first two Premier League games, Batshuayi could be given a chance to impress against Norwich this weekend.
Rudiger supplied Batshuayi for the first goal as the defender fed a through ball to the striker to clip into the back of the net five minutes before halftime.
Blues boss Frank Lampard may now be considering the return of the Batsman.
