The Blues are yet to win a game this season, losing 4-0 to Manchester United at Old Trafford, losing on penalties to Liverpool in the Super Cup and drawing 1-1 with Leicester City at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma has declared Saturday’s game against Norwich City as a must win game for Chelsea.
Zouma said, according to The Sun: “We want to win every game. But we must win. We want to win this one, of course.
“We are Chelsea. We are a big club. We wanted to win against Leicester City on Sunday.
“Unfortunately we couldn’t and Saturday has to be a win. Every game has to be a win.”
Antonio Rudiger could make his first appearance of the season against Norwich after a four-month injury absence.
Rudiger admits he’s feeling better.
He told Chelsea’s official website: “I’ve been back for almost two weeks with the team and I’m feeling better each day.
“But of course there is still game fitness missing, which is what I need to get better.
“I know I need to be patient. There’s no need to rush anything at the moment because we have a long season to go. You have to go day by day and that is what I’m doing.
“I have to test myself before I play in the Premier League. It was good to get back on the pitch because there is no holding back and that’s what I need to get fit.
“I was very pleased and thankful to the development team for having me there.
“I haven’t played any game for three months so I had full motivation and also a desire to play with respect for the young guys.
“As a senior player, you have to lead by example and with your actions, not just by talking.”
