Former Chelsea star Eden Hazard terrorised the Premier League before making the move to Real Madrid this summer.

Hazard was rated as one of the best players in the Premier League during his time in the EPL, and surely the Belgian will be missed.

However, Brighton winger Leandro Trossard has claimed he has similarities to fellow Belgian Hazard.

The 24-year-old is yet to feature at international level for Belgium but has regularly trained alongside the likes of Real Madrid playmaker Hazard and Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku having being called up to the Belgium national-team squads a couple of times.

“I play with them in the Belgian national team, it’s always nice to play with them, you can learn from them,” Trossard told PA.

“Hazard is a similar player like me in possession so you are always trying to learn how they play and stuff.

“It’s the same position, we are two Belgians, that’s why it makes easy the comparison. But it’s a different type (of player).

“I like one against ones. I’m quite fast, turning. I hope I can show you so you know how my style is.”

Hazard will definitely be missed at Stamford Bridge but the Belgian insists Christian Pulisic is a proper footballer and can become one of the best players in the world.

“He can be one of the best in the future for sure,” Hazard told The Associated Press.

Hazard thinks Pulisic can follow in his footsteps.

“He can be (a star),” he said. “Now he’s at one of the best clubs in the world,” he said.

“He’s a proper player,” Hazard continued. “He can play football.”
