Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is unhappy with Marina Granovskaia after the Chelsea director blocked his loan move to Monaco, according to Daily Mirror.
The 25 year old midfielder is surplus to requirements at Chelsea under Frank Lampard and he was hoping to join Monaco on loan.
Monaco are eager to sign Bakayoko on loan two years after selling him to Chelsea for £40m but Granovskaia is reportedly reluctant to loan Bakayoko to Monaco over concerns he will not play enough.
According to Daily Mirror, Granovskaia wants Bakayoko to have plenty of game time to showcase his talents in a bid to drive up his value.
Bakayoko was a key part of the Monaco team that won the French title and reached the Champions League semifinal in the 2016/17, which convinced then Chelsea boss Antonio Conte to push for his signing.
The Frenchman struggled to impress in his first season at the club before he was loaned out to AC Milan who had an option to sign the midfielder. He impressed at AC Milan but the Italian club opted against signing Bakayoko on a permanent deal.
It’s surprising Bakayoko failed to impress at Chelsea as he has all the attributes to be a great midfielder.
